| Real Estate Career and Personal Interests Bruce Birt is a Real Estate Broker, the CEO, and the Company Founder of Know Your Coast Realty LLC, a brokerage firm located in Lincoln County Oregon. In addition, Bruce Birt is the CEO and Company Founder of Know Your Coast LLC, an Oregon Coast Marketing and Internet Marketing Company based in Newport Oregon. Also as the Company's Principal Broker, Bruce is responsible for the overall supervision of the Company's real estate operations and all regulatory matters in accordance with Oregon State Law. As a Real Estate Broker, Bruce Birt is licensed to practice professional real estate activities in the State of Oregon. Bruce works directly with the clientele at Know Your Coast Realty LLC acting as a Buyer’s Agent, a Seller’s Agent, or in some case, as a Disclosed Limited Agent. Depending on the client’s needs, Bruce will represent clients for residential property, commercial and investment properties, new home construction and business opportunities. As the Company’s CEO, Bruce is responsible for setting the Company’s strategic initiatives and managing all aspects of the business operations and client services programs. Working with the parent company (Know Your Coast LLC), Bruce is in charge of all creative development and implementation resources involved with the Oregon Coast Real Estate Knowledge Center. Bruce has earned multiple designations from his commitment to continuous education and focus on increasing his professional skill sets. He holds the Graduate of Realtor® Institute (GRI) designation identifying that he has completed over 90 hours of coursework involving various real estate topics. Currently, Bruce is pursuing the Certified Residential Broker (CRB) designation for recognition of achieving advanced training in brokerage and real estate business management. In addition, Bruce holds three designations (ABR®, CNHS and e-PRO) involving specific training on Buyer Representation, New Home Construction and Internet Marketing. The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation is the benchmark for buyer representation and is awarded to those that meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria. The Certified New Home Construction designation provided Bruce with specific knowledge on new home construction, buyer representation for new homes, and marketing/business skills to support builders and developers. Bruce was one of the first Realtors® in the United States to achieve the e-PRO Certification as an Internet Professional with special skills and training to work with the online user community. He has been a market leader and business visionary in implementing new and advance technologies based on the Internet and other computer technologies including the implementation of the Oregon Coast Real Estate Knowledge Center. Since 1998, Bruce Birt has been an Oregon Coast Realtor® serving the Central Oregon Coast real estate marketplace handling both buyer and seller representation duties. Prior to founding the Know Your Coast family of companies, he worked as an independent contractor for several franchise brokerages in the Lincoln County area. Prior to his real estate career, Bruce enjoyed a fifteen year career in the computer industry handling sales and account management duties in both computer hardware and software arenas. Bruce worked for an extensive period for NCR Corporation handling major accounts in the retail and insurance industries in the San Francisco Bay Area. He handled such accounts as The Good Guys!, Ross Stores and California State Automobile Association and was involved with many multi-million dollar based projects. Also, Bruce worked with several software companies involved in the development and marketing of Internet Marketing Software and Sales Force Automation applications. He holds a Business Administration Degree from California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, California. Bruce has completed additional training in business development, executive leadership and entrepreneurship, and has recently served as a Board of Director for several community associations. It is the love of the ocean that brought Bruce Birt to the Oregon Coast in 1997. Since then, Bruce has been a resident of Lincoln County and an active member of the business community. He is thrilled to enjoy long walks on the beach, finding the freshest seafood to eat and sharing the incredible amenities of the Oregon Coast with friends. It is this love of the Oregon Coast and its natural beauty that drives Bruce’s vision for delivering the Oregon Coast Real Estate Knowledge Center and his desire to the share the wonderful experiences of coastal living with residents and visitors alike. |
