The Community of South Beach - South Beach State Park and Campground
The South Beach Business Corridor is located on or near the route of Highway 101 and features a mixture of commercial and light industrial business properties plus small residential neighborhoods bordering the area’s business developments. A key attraction of the South Beach Community is the South Beach State Park and Campground. The north half of the park is accessible from the South Jetty Road, a roadway traversing along the course of the South Jetty offering public access to both the jetty itself and to the beach strand of South Beach. Also, the park includes a Day Use Area designed with several lawn areas for picnicking as well as public restroom facilities. A portion of the park grounds includes the South Beach State Campground open year round offering such amenities as RV Sites and Dump Stations, Camping Yurts and Group Camping Sites, Flush Toilets and Hot Showers, Meeting Room Facilities, outdoor playground equipment, and an extensive nature trail system running along the beach grass and sand dunes fronting the park.
