| The City of Lincoln City Oregon is composed of five major neighborhood districts, with the Oceanlake District located in the north half of the city. Lincoln City is the accumulation of five towns/cities that were incorporated together as one entity in 1965 under the name of Lincoln City. The north part of Lincoln City includes the Oceanlake District, and also a neighboring community known as Neotsu at the north end of Devils Lake. Lincoln City features seven miles of broad sandy beaches, along with the 680-acre Devils Lake area. The south end of Devils Lake narrows into D River, the world smallest river. The D River drains westward over the beach and meets the Pacific Ocean. The D River State Recreation Area is located along D River and Highway 101, and offers wonderful park facilities including beach access. The D River Area is the dividing line separating the north and south sections of Lincoln City. The neighboring district to the south of D River is known as Delake. |
