Cutler City and Drift Creek
The Cutler City Neighborhood offers its residents a unique waterfront setting along the Siletz Bay. Cutler City is surrounded on three sides by water from the Siletz Bay and Drift Creek. The neighborhood includes two Lincoln City Parks, one named the Josephine Young Park, and the other known as Kid’s Park and Seniors Too! Josephine Young Park is located along the banks of the Siletz Bay and provides beach access, picnic tables and restrooms. The scenery of the park overlooks the many collections of driftwood, and the Salishan Spit and Pacific Ocean in the distance. The location of the park is excellent for watching sunsets as well. The Kid’s Park and Senior Too! Park is located on the interior of the neighborhood and includes playground equipment, picnic tables and a basketball court. The south end of Cutler City is bordered by Drift Creek as it enters into the Siletz Bay. Drift Creek is an important stream area supporting the spawning of Salmon and Steelhead. Cutler City and Drift Creek represent the last residential communities of Lincoln City. The area to the south includes the Siletz Bay River System, the Siletz Bay National Wildlife Refuge and Gleneden Beach.
