Yachats River Beach Area - Yachats Ocean Road State Natural Site

The Yachats River Road is a scenic drive heading inland near the course of the Yachats River. At the North Fork of the Yachats River is the Yachats Covered Bridge built in 1938 and later restored to prime condition in 1989. The Development of Quiet Water is a subdivision found on the east side of Highway 101 overlooking the Yachats River. The Quiet Water Development features home sites developed within the tranquility of the river as well as providing several community amenities including an outdoor tennis court, a swimming pool facility and a riverfront nature trail. The beach area surrounding the mouth of the Yachats River is a popular spot for beach visitors enjoying the beauty of the rolling waters of the Yachats River plus the white water surf coming ashore around Yachats Bay. South of the Yachats River Bridge is the Yachats Ocean Road State Natural Site, an Oregon State Park Area built along the coastline of Yachats Bay offering scenic picnic areas and access to the rocky shoreline. The Agate Point Area of South Yachats features a variety of seaside home sites capturing the awesome beauty of the rugged coastline.
