The Beach Strand of Searose Beach - The Community Area of Tenmile Creek
From Brays Point, the scenic vantage points extending southward capture the beautiful stretches of sandy shorelines making up the Beach Strand of Searose Beach, a pristine beach area found within the Tenmile Creek Community Area. The Tenmile Creek Community Area is generally described from the Brays Point Area to the north continuing southward to the residential areas surrounding the Tenmile Creek Estuary. The Tenmile Creek Community Area features tiny residential areas built on both sides of Highway 101 on a coastal land strip bordered by the Siuslaw National Forest and the Beach Strand of Searose Beach. At the south end of the community is the historic Tenmile Creek Bridge and the Stonefield Beach State Recreation Site, an Oregon State Day Use Park.
