The Community of Seal Rock - The Developments of Makai and Huckleberry Hill
The Ona Beach State Park Area is bordered by two residential developments known as Makai and Huckleberry Hill. The Development of Makai is situated on a hillside just to the north of Beaver Creek and is accessible via a non-gated entrance into the neighborhood on the east side of Highway 101. The Development of Makai features individual home sites spread across the hillside and is made up of both site-built and manufactured homes. The streets built on the western edge of the subdivision feature fantastic views looking out towards the park grounds of the Ona Beach State Park as well as affording panoramic ocean views of the surrounding coastline and the oncoming surf. The interior home sites offer well-placed lot locations creating a nice balance of residential development and planned community open areas. Further adding to the quality of the Makai neighborhood are paved streets for moving throughout the subdivision. The Development of Huckleberry Hill is located on the ocean bluffs directly to the south of the Ona Beach State Park. Also, both developments benefit from being close-by to the wonderful facilities of the Ona Beach State Park.
