Pacific City
Pacific City is one of the key developments in the southern part of Tillamook County and serves as a hub for many small communities located nearby including Tierra Del Mar, Sand Lake, Woods and Oretown. Pacific City borders the Pacific Ocean and features a wonderful beach strand that runs south towards the end of the Nestucca Spit. The Nestucca River winds itself through Pacific City as it meets with the Little Nestucca River System to the south. Many of the Pacific City neighborhoods are set along side this beach area, or besides the Nestucca River, or a combination of the two together. Key developments include Nantucket Shores, Nestucca Ridge, Kiwanda Shores, Four Sisters Village, and Shorepine Village. At the south end of Pacific City, the Bob Straub State Park features miles of sandy beaches in an unspoiled sand dune setting. Pacific City is best known for its Dory Fishing Boats, its wonderful beach strands, its ocean and river fishing, and its quaint residential neighborhoods and small town services.
