Cape Kiwanda and Haystack Rock

As one of the Oregon Coast’s most scenic landmarks, Cape Kiwanda and its majestic sea stack neighbor called Haystack Rock, offer beachcombers in the Pacific City area with a rare vantage point and a great place to watch sunsets. Cape Kiwanda is the most southern cape along the scenic Three Capes Drive located in Tillamook County. Cape Kiwanda and its surrounding beach areas provide an excellent spot for enjoying many outdoor recreation activities. Cape Kiwanda separates one beach strand that heads north to the Sand Lake Estuary, while the south strand ends at the Nestucca Spit. Just offshore, Haystack Rock protrudes out from the Pacific Ocean and is visible for many miles around. Many of the homes in the area have been designed to capture the rugged beauty of this picturesque sea stack.
