South Beach Neighborhood
The South Beach Neighborhood Area is located on the southern end of the Neskowin Community, and overlooks the south side of Proposal Rock. This community area is accessed through a gated entrance area located on the west side of Highway 101 just south on the main commercial real estate developments of the Neskowin Village. The neighborhood features several different developments offering various beach access points to the Neskowin Beach Strand. The developments include low bank properties with oceanfront vantage points, hillside properties with panoramic ocean views, and interior home sites set within lush natural settings. The neighborhood area is bordered by Neskowin Creek and several wetland areas, Highway 101 and the Neskowin Beach Strand. Continuing south past the South Beach Access Gate, Highway 101 meets Slab Creek Road. Slab Creek Road heads inland along Neskowin Creek and features home sites nestled on the creek or in evergreen treed settings, adding a rural country living aspect to the Neskowin Area.
